My children have a long, rich history of mangling the English Language. I blame Bug for much of this. At three years old, he decided that plain old Mom and Dad were boring. For at least the next year, I was known as Loshobino and Dad was Yazzibooboo. Don't ask me where those names came from. This is the child who had a teddy bear named Agzhoe. At the store, he talked about the ashacuterator (cashier) using the casterator (cash register). That is, when he wasn't loudly commenting about women with big chesties who graced the magazine covers by the checkout.
Our new to us car is a 2005 Hondaconda, thanks to T-rex. According to the Princess, our next door neighbor has a pet chicamaugua (chihuahua).
Handyman is fitting right in. He came in today and proudly announced, "I fixed T-rex's bike." Mr. Ham replied, "That's great!" Handyman continued, "Yeah, I found out what was wrong - he was missing two barbarians." (That would explain a lot) When Mr. Ham finished rolling on the floor, laughing, he was able to discern that Handyman really meant "ball bearings". I'm left with the mental image of my son riding down the road with two large, hairy men in Viking helmets hanging on the back. That would give the neighbors a shock!

Seven and counting
Welcome to the Home of Many Hams!
We are the Hamiltons, or the Hams for short. Dad, Mom, five children, two foster children, three dogs and a cat. Not quite enough characters for a reality show (no thank you!) but not quite the norm either.
Here are the five Ham kids:
Batboy - My nearly 20 firstborn. Loves all things sports and especially St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Also passionate about U of L basketball.
Bug - Almost 18 and ready to finish high school. Passionate about politics and history, he will debate you at the drop of a hat - about anything.
T-Rex - Fifteen years old now, he joined our family when he was 7. Loves all things Star Wars and knows the name of every Jedi.
Godzilla - At 12, Godzilla is the newest addition to the Hamilton fam - he joined us two years ago at the age of 10. He is an artist and especially loves drawing Godzilla and Transformers.
The Princess - Age 7, the only girl, totally spoiled in the best possible way. She loves to dance, do gymnastics and draw pictures for Mom and Dad. She is into high heels, jewelry, and anything that sparkles.
Mr. Cool, 16, and the Handyman, 11 are our foster sons. We are blessed to have them with our family.
I am looking forward to sharing our adventures with you.
